Mooing & Murphy’s Law
Murphy’s Law: things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance. “If there’s more than one possible outcome of a job or task, and one of those outcomes will result in disaster or an undesirable consequence, then somebody will do it that way.”
Well, don’t take this personally or anything, but screw yourself, Murphy. Yeah, remember how I said we were trying to buy a new car. Yeah, that’s not an option, so we decided to try and get Howard’s car fixed. {Quick Backstory: In May, the motor blew in Howard’s Buick} So we found someone/some parts to fix it and went through a game of cat a mouse and broken commitments to eventually give a dead car CPR. My in laws went to pick it up this afternoon and didn’t get a receipt. They didn’t fix everything and it won’t make it here, and it REALLY won’t work for Bubba to take to and from to work. So, we’re taking a very unplanned, annoying road trip tomorrow morning that I am NOT looking forward to. Blah…Friggin Murphy.
Maddie’s high chair has some barnyard animals attached to it that make all sorts of noises, including a cow that moo’s. She has now figured out how to do that. When I said goodnight to Maddie tonight I was giving her kisses and she put her head on my shoulder and continued to say, ‘MooooDadaMoooooMummmMummmMooooDaaaaaaa’.
See, she doesn’t like Murphy either.
